Visitors and locals may now get to Coron, Palawan, more quickly and safely thanks to the completion of a key access road to Malawig Beach and the Buenavista Bay Area.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Palawan 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) was in charge of the project, which was finished successfully to make this popular tourist spot easier to get to, move around in, and link with other places.

In a report to DPWH MIMAROPA Regional Director Gerald A. Pacanan, Rommel P. Aguirre, CESO III, Palawan 1st District Engineer, said that the project includes a two-lane Portland Cement Concrete Pavement that is 211.5 linear meters long overall. The road was built to last, so it provides a reliable and long-lasting way for both locals and tourists to get about.
Now that it’s easier to get to, more people are expected to visit Malawig Beach and the Buenavista Bay Area. This is especially true for local companies including restaurants, transportation services, resorts, and gift stores. The increase in travelers will not only boost tourism, but it will also offer new business and job opportunities for people in the area.

The project helps tourists and also fosters long-term growth in the area. The access road will help Coron thrive in the long term by creating more jobs in the food service, tour guiding, hospitality, and transportation industries.
