People were shocked when a woman suddenly came out of a drain on the street at Rufino and Adelantado Streets in Legazpi Village, Makati City.
According to a report by 24 Oras, someone posted about the incident on Reddit. They said people were surprised when the woman’s head appeared from the drainage. A few moments later, she came out completely and ran away. Some security guards tried to catch her.
No one knows why the woman was inside the drainage or why she ran. It’s also unclear how or when she entered the drain. She may have crawled through a small tunnel from another place.
Luckily, no cars hit her when she came out onto the street.
Authorities checked the inside of the drain but didn’t find anything special. They later placed a steel railing over the drain to stop anyone from entering again.
The incident received many reactions online. Some people made jokes, while others showed concern.

The Makati Police and the Makati Central Estate Association (MACEA) have not made any statements about the incident.
