A significant change for the current generation of iPhones is the release of the iOS 18 update. The update introduces a lot of new features to improve the user experience and make it more entertaining, on top of the exclusive Apple Intelligence package for the iPhone 15 Pro models. When designing iOS 18, it seems that Apple was influenced by Google’s Android platform.
There are many features in the new operating system to explore, including an extremely customized home screen, enhanced intelligent AI suggestions, and upgraded first-party Apple apps. All iPhone users will have to wait until Fall 2024 for the stable release of the AI-infused iOS, according to the revelation made at WWDC 2024.
In simpler terms, the next-generation iPhone 16 series will be the first to receive the new iOS 18 update before it becomes available for previous devices.
Even though there isn’t much of a wait, iPhone users are excited to try out the most recent version. Thankfully, there is a risk-filled method to obtain iOS 18 early.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Joining the Apple Beta program and registering your iPhone for the upgrade is the only method to get iOS 18 on your device early.
Take note that the iOS Public Beta is likely to be unstable and full of bugs, even if you might be ready to take a chance. The incomplete version may seriously impair the performance of your device, especially important apps related to banking, shopping, transit, and online payments.
Therefore, unless you have a backup device, we advise against using the iOS 18 Beta.
If you’re still with us, you’re willing to take any chance or put up with any small inconvenience in order to use iOS 18. Until the stable release in September, follow this guide to upgrade your iPhone.
