GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite — On Wednesday, an 11-year-old girl who had been missing for two days was found dead and may have been sexually assaulted in a populated area of Barangay Santa Clara.
The victim was identified by Lt. Col. Jose Naparato Jr. as a local resident and student in Grade 6.
The body was discovered at 11 a.m. by Oscar Ballada Bovadilla, a local, according to the police report. while gathering local bamboo shoots. Bovadilla revealed to the investigators that he was shocked to find the victim’s body.
The victim’s father had posted on Facebook about their missing daughter before this awful finding. The search for the perpetrator of this crime is currently being intensified by the General Trias police.
