It has been revealed that Thai actor Win Metawin would participate in the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2024 crowning night performance.
Recognized for his parts in the films “2Gether” and “F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers,” Metawin will be entertaining the crowd on May 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena alongside local band Lola Amour and drag queen Marina Summers.
Recently, Metawin and Janella Salvador starred in the Hong Kong-shot movie “Under Parallel Skies”.
Actor Alden Richards and Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel will co-host the show with actress Gabbi Garcia, host Tim Yap, and Miss Universe co-host Jeannie Mai Jenkins, according to MUPH.
The 73rd Miss Universe pageant will take place in Mexico later this year, with over 50 delegates vying to replace Michelle Dee as the Philippines’ representative.
Top 3 in the fan-voted Runway Challenge includes Leyte’s Angel Rosa Tambal, Florida’s Matea Mahal Smith, and Quirino’s Stephanie Faye Gerona, along with front-runners Alexie Brooks of Iloilo City and Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province.
Manalo and Brooks, along with Bacoor’s Victoria Velasquez Vincent, placed in the Top 3 for the casting reel task and in the Top 5 for the MUPH interview and swimwear challenges.
