With its official release in Philippine theaters, Transformers One has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics.

Along with its “breathtaking 3D-style animation,” The Hollywood Reporter hailed the film as “a visual treat from start to finish.”
Variety emphasized how the movie takes a fresh perspective on well-known characters. “Transformers One maintains the excitement fans expect but adds a layer of nuance and complexity, delivering the most mature portrayal of these iconic robots so far.”
MovieWeb expressed similar sentiments, describing the film as “a captivating CGI adventure packed with action, humor, and a meaningful script with strong themes.”
Transformers One explores the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, who were once close friends but later became enemies, changing the fate of Cybertron. The talented voice cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, Chris Hemsworth, and Brian Tyree Henry.
Distributed by Paramount Pictures through Columbia Pictures, the film is currently playing in Philippine theaters.
