Manila, Philippines — Rising Filipino cue artist AJ “Starboy” Manas emerged as the brightest star of the 2025 Reyes Cup, earning the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in his debut appearance as he led Team Asia to a commanding 11–3 victory over Team Rest of the World at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

Only 18 years old, AJ Manas showcased extraordinary composure and skill throughout the four-day tournament, turning heads with his consistent, confident play. His most remarkable moment came when he defeated world no. 1 Fedor Gorst in a thrilling 5–4 singles match, where a crucial foul by Gorst allowed Manas to capitalize and seal the win.

Manas also teamed up with fellow Filipino champion Carlo Biado in a doubles showdown, where they outclassed Gorst and Jayson Shaw with a 5–2 victory.
