Senator Bong Revilla, who is running for reelection, responded to some of his critics who have been teasing him about being called “Mr. Budots” in the Senate.
In a quick interview, Senator Revilla openly talked about the results of his “budots” in the Senate.
“Budots, it’s true, Bong Revilla really does budots, but that budots has led to the laws I’ve made,” said the Senator.
He also proudly mentioned the number of laws he has passed because of his “budots.”
“Out of 2,000 bills I filed, 343 are now laws. That’s right, Bong Revilla did budots in the Senate. So it’s okay if we all do budots,” said Revilla.
Revilla is one of the 12 senatorial candidates endorsed by the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, the official senatorial slate of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.
It is worth remembering that Revilla became famous for dancing the budots after he used it in one of his campaign ads during the 2019 midterm elections.
