Jaro, Leyte – The second elimination round of the Lolita Cup Season 2 Basketball Tournament came to a close today at the Jaro Gymnasium, with several teams securing their spots in the quarterfinals.
Game 1: Dulag vs. Javier (2:00 PM)
In the first match of the day, the Dulag Karatong defeated the Javier Dragons by a score of 86-84.
Lean Mitra of Dulag Karatong was named the Player of the Game, scoring 18 points to lead his team to victory.
Game 2: Carigara vs. Santa Fe (4:00 PM)
The Carigara Cobras followed suit, clinching a 86-84 win over the Santa Fe Rice Guardians.
Rex Martin Ligutan of Carigara Cobras stepped up with 16 points to secure the win for his team.
Game 3: Jaro vs. Barugo (6:00 PM)
The final match of the day saw the Jaro Warriors come out on top in a closely contested battle against the Super A to Z Barugo, winning 83-76.
Byron Parcero delivered a standout performance, scoring 27 points to help Jaro Warriors secure the final quarterfinal spot.
