BURAUEN, LEYTE – Under the direction of PMAJ Ariel J. Salarda, members of the Burauen Police Station executed a warrantless arrest of a 40 years old man resident of Barangay Buri, Burauen, Leyte, on June 18, 2024, at around 5:45 PM. According to Article II of RA 9165, generally referred to as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the arrest was made for violating Sections 11 and 12.
The accused person who was placed under detention had his constitutional rights evaluated. After that, it was taken to the Burauen MPS for the booking process and paperwork, after which it was placed in the MPS custody facility for final disposition.
