Former President Rodrigo Duterte (FPRRD) believes that the friendship between Vice President Sara Duterte and Senator Imee Marcos is sincere.
VP Sara shared what she and her father talked about regarding Senator Imee’s friendship with her. During a meeting with supporters in The Hague, Netherlands, on July 15, 2025, VP Sara said her father thinks Senator Imee is genuine in being her friend.
“He said, ‘I believe she is sincere with her friendship with you.’ He added, ‘She doesn’t have to be friends with you, but she chooses to be.’ That’s what he told me earlier,” VP Sara explained.
Both VP Sara and Senator Imee are currently in The Hague. Reports say the senator arrived in the country on July 15.
It can be recalled that after VP Sara supported Senator Imee in the last midterm elections, talks about a possible “Sara-Imee” team-up for 2028 have been growing.
