Brothers of Senator Raffy Tulfo remain top picks for the Senate in a new survey by Tangere.
The survey, conducted from December 10 to 13 using a mobile app, showed that 63.13% of respondents would vote for ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo if elections were held during the survey period. His brother, media personality Ben Tulfo, came second with 51%.
Erwin led across all regions, age groups, and socioeconomic classes, while Ben gained strong support in the Visayas.
Tied with Ben in the second to fourth spots were former Senate President Vicente Sotto III (50.5%) and Senator Bong Go (49.5%).
Other top preferences included Senator Pia Cayetano (42.71%), former Senators Manny Pacquiao (42%) and Panfilo Lacson (41.54%), former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos (34.5%), and Senator Bong Revilla (34.33%).
The last slots in the Magic 12 were closely contested by Senator Lito Lapid, Makati Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Francis Tolentino, Senator Ronald dela Rosa, Senator Imee Marcos, former Senators Bam Aquino and Francis Pangilinan, TV host Willie Revillame, and social media personality Willie Ong, all scoring around 30-32%.
Trailing them were SAGIP Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar, former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson, former Senator Gregorio Honasan, and actor Phillip Salvador.
Cayetano, Revilla, and Singson showed notable improvements in the survey. The sample size was 2,400 respondents, with a margin of error of 1.96%.
Meanwhile, the party-list group Partido Trabaho at Wage Hike has withdrawn from the 2025 midterm elections. Comelec confirmed their withdrawal, reducing the number of party-list groups on the ballot to 155.
