Filipino TV viewers would be very happy! “Family Feud Philippines” will have American TV personality Steve Harvey as a guest. Dingdong Dantes hosts the local version of the show, and Harvey will be there on Friday, April 24, 2026.
A lot of people were already chatting about Harvey’s likely appearance online before the show made it official. Fans were excited but not sure if it was real. Then, the official Facebook site for “Family Feud Philippines” verified the news and made it clear: Steve Harvey is coming.
“Survey says… it’s STEVE HARVEY on Family Feud Philippines!” was a hilarious statement that the show put online. They also claimed that Friday will be a memorable day that fans will always remember.
“Family Feud” is something Harvey knows a lot about. Since 2010, he has been the host of the American version of the show. So it’s a big deal for local fans to see him visit the Philippine version.
This isn’t the first time a foreign game show host has come to the Philippines. Howie Mandel came to the country almost 20 years ago to film a special edition of “Deal or No Deal.” Kris Aquino was the local host of that show at the time.
“Family Feud” has been around for a long time in the Philippines. Ogie Alcasid hosted the show when it originally aired in the country in 2001. Richard Gomez and Edu Manzano also presented the show after that. Luis Manzano, Edu’s son, took over later. Dingdong Dantes has hosted the show twice: once from 2009 to 2010 and again starting in 2022.
A lot of Filipinos already know Steve Harvey from the Miss Universe contest, which is another important event. He was the host of the contest many times. A lot of people recall the enormous blunder he made at the 2015 Miss Universe. He read the name of the wrong winner. He said that Ariadna Gutierrez from Colombia had won, but Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines was the genuine winner. It was a shocking moment that people still talk about today.
