The 126th anniversary of Philippine independence was honored on Wednesday, and Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte highlighted the value of national unity in her speech.
Duterte recognized the nation’s heroes’ sacrifices for the freedom and independence we enjoy today in her Independence Day speech.
(This day is a remembrance and recognition of our heroes’ sacrifices for our freedom and independence.)
In order to create a stable, peaceful, and prosperous Philippines, Duterte again emphasized the necessity of ongoing collaboration and togetherness. (This also reminds us to unite for a stable, peaceful, and prosperous Philippines.)
During the speech at Davao City’s Independence Day celebration, the Vice President emphasized that the occasion honors not just the country’s freedom but also the struggles and aspirations of the Filipino people.
According to Duterte, “the freedom we enjoy today is the product of our ancestors’ unwavering resolve to reclaim our right to govern ourselves as a sovereign nation.”
