OCTA Survey: Marcos Gains More Support Than Duterte

A recent survey by OCTA Research shows that more Filipinos support the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. compared to those who support the Dutertes and their political allies.

The survey, called Tugon ng Masa (TNM), was conducted from January 25 to 31, 2025. It found that 36% of adult Filipinos support the Marcos administration, while only 18% support the Dutertes. About 26% said they do not support either side, 12% refused to answer or were unsure, and 8% said they support the opposition.

The number of Marcos supporters dropped by 2 points since the August 2024 report, while support for the Dutertes decreased by 3 points. However, OCTA said these changes are not significant because they fall within the survey’s margin of error.

The survey included face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents aged 18 and above from across the country.
