President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. wants the Metro Manila Subway Project to be completed by the year 2028.
He shared this after visiting and checking the progress at Camp Aguinaldo Station yesterday morning.
President Marcos said he is happy with how the project is going. He praised the Japanese engineers managing the work and said the government made the right decision in choosing them.
“This is really impressive when you see it. Just imagine how hard the engineering work is, but the Japanese are the best at this,” Marcos added.
The Metro Manila Subway will run from Valenzuela City to the Manila International Airport. When finished, travel time will be cut from two hours to only 40 minutes.
The President said the project will bring great help to passengers. It will make commuting faster and reduce the stress caused by heavy traffic in Metro Manila.
Marcos hopes that Filipinos will soon be able to ride the country’s first subway. He also asked everyone to support the government’s plans for progress and development.
