The Ormoc City Government and the Ormoc City Festival and Cultural Foundation Inc. are excited to invite the public to this year’s Piña Festival Parade and Showdown, a highlight of the city’s month-long fiesta celebration.
The festival parade kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024, starting at Robinsons Ormoc and culminating at the City Sports Complex for the grand showdown of the Piña Festival Queen 2024 candidates.
Representing Ormoc Mayor Lucy Torres-Gomez and Leyte 4th District Congressman Richard Gomez, Foundation Chairwoman Estrella Maria Serafica-Pangilinan and Ormoc Fiesta Executive Committee Chairman Jude Abenoja proudly announced the candidates competing for the Piña Festival Queen 2024 title.
The seven contestants are:
- Charlene Angel Custodio, Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc City (Pundok Sidlakan)
- Amehan Gonzales, Western Leyte College (Pundok Kasadpan)
- Monette Paula Mangcal, Barangay Don Felipe Larrazabal (Pundok Hamtatamsi)
- Rafa Monica Fernandez, Barangay Linao (Mapasalamaton)
- Dorianne L. Aerni, STI-Ormoc (Nagkahiusang Ormocanon)
- Jane Navarro, Barangay Ipil (Madasigon)
- Jezreel Madriaga, St. Aloysius Institute of Technology (Pamilyang Aloysians)
