President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will not forgive even his allies or party members if they are found guilty of corruption.
This was the President’s warning in his BBM podcast, as investigations into flood control projects and other possibly corrupt activities continue.
He said those who caused suffering for the people must be held responsible, especially after recent storms and floods left many areas underwater.
“Sorry, but if you do that, you’re no longer my ally,” the President said.
He added that officials responsible for the people’s hardships must answer for their actions. The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is currently investigating the issue.
“The suffering our people went through—someone must answer for it,” the President said.
