A 16-year-old chess prodigy named Ruelle Canino shocked the chess community this past weekend when she won the National Women’s Chess Championship in Malolos, Bulacan. She pulled off a shocking 62-move upset against numerous tough opponents, including Woman International Master Jan Jodilyn Fronda, in an amazing display of brilliance.
In addition to showcasing Canino’s extraordinary talent, this victory gave her the chance to compete in important competitions like the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and the Olympiad.
