MANILA, Philippines — Filipino funk-rock band IV of Spades is officially back on the big stage, set to perform at the inaugural Filipino Music Awards 2025 on October 21 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The announcement comes as the band gears up for one of its busiest years yet. After dropping fresh singles “Aura” and “Nanaman” earlier this year, IV of Spades is preparing to release their much-anticipated new album Andalucia on November 5 under Sony Music Philippines — their first full-length release in six years.
Joining them at the grand event are powerhouse group SB19 and BINI, both of whom continue to raise the flag for Original Pilipino Music (OPM) on the global stage. With these names headlining the roster, the awards night is shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrations of Filipino music in recent memory.

For IV of Spades, the performance signifies not just another gig, but a defining comeback. Known for their genre-bending sound and electrifying stage presence, the band’s participation adds weight to the Filipino Music Awards’ debut and heightens anticipation for Andalucia.
As excitement builds, one thing is certain: when IV of Spades, SB19, and BINI share the same stage, Filipino music fans are in for a night that could set the tone for the future of OPM.
