The Commission on Elections (Comelec) reports that approximately 69 million people have registered to vote in the 2025 midterm elections. As of October 31, Comelec Chairman George Garcia announced 68,618,667 registered voters.
Garcia cautioned that this statistic could vary due to the continuous clearance of duplicate registrations.
The Calabarzon region, comprising Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon, has the highest voter count with 9,764,170, followed by Central Luzon with 7,712,535. The National Capital Region has 7,562,858 voters, while Central Visayas and the Bicol Region have 4,407,337 and 4,066,662 voters, respectively.
In contrast, the Cordillera Administrative Region and Caraga have the fewest voters, with 1,111,859 and 1,889,616, respectively.
Comelec highlighted that this year’s voter count has grown from the 65.7 million in 2022 and 67.8 million in 2023.
