Calape, Bohol — October 2025.
H Resort Bohol – The Coral Cliff is issuing a strong warning to the public against unauthorized Facebook pages that have been fraudulently collecting payments from guests by posing as the resort’s official account.
In recent weeks, the resort has received several reports of scam transactions, where individuals were deceived into transferring reservation deposits to fake accounts. These fraudulent pages imitate the resort’s posts, photos, logo, and contact details, misleading guests into believing they are legitimate booking platforms.
Despite an earlier report filed with the Philippine National Police (PNP), the fraudulent activities continue. The resort has since escalated the matter to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) and is coordinating closely with Meta (Facebook) for the immediate removal of these fake pages.
“We are deeply concerned about these scams and the distress they cause to our guests,” said the management of H Resort Bohol – The Coral Cliff. “We urge everyone to verify and confirm our official Facebook page and contact numbers before making any reservations or payments.”
Guests are reminded to transact only through the resort’s official channels:
