The Municipality of Naujan in Oriental Mindoro is steadily moving forward with infrastructure developments that strengthen connectivity and boost local growth. The province’s commitment to progress while ensuring that residents benefit from faster, safer, and more efficient road networks.

One of the projects that has been completed is in the municipality of Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

Engineering Office has completed a road construction project in Barangay San Carlos, Naujan, aimed at improving rural accessibility and mobility. The initiative supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s commitment to strengthening connectivity in the country’s rural areas.

According to District Engineer Salvador E. Abad’s report to DPWH MIMAROPA Regional Director Gerald A. Pacanan, CESO III, the project covered the concreting of a 464-meter road, five meters wide, with a one-meter gravel shoulder on each side to ensure durability and safety.

The new road is expected to reduce traffic congestion, shorten travel time, and enhance safety for motorists by providing wider lanes and smoother passage. It also improves access for the transport of goods and services, fostering local trade and making travel more convenient for residents.

This development reflects the government’s continuing effort to enhance infrastructure in rural areas, boosting both economic activity and community connectivity in Oriental Mindoro.
