A young man once went viral for riding a skateboard on the streets. His name is Jave Arnaiz. His video was only 15 seconds long, but it brought joy to many people and got millions of views. It was meant to share good energy and fun.
But not everyone saw the joy behind it. Some people laughed at him. Others called him bad names like “drug addict” or told him to stop using drugs. They judged him without knowing his real story.
Instead of getting angry or giving up, Jave stayed strong. He used the hate as motivation. He focused on his dreams, studied hard, and kept moving forward. Now, he is a proud graduate of the University of the Philippines, one of the best schools in the country.
In his post, Jave gave a message to those who have been judged or laughed at:
“You are more than what they see. You are purpose. You are strength. And with faith, grit, and grace, you’ll rise above it all.”
