La Union’s Bea Millan Windorski is the next Miss Universe Philippines 2026. On May 2, 2025, the event took place in the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Bea is a Filipino-American who grew up in the United States in Wisconsin. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she studied History and International Relations. She also worked at the Philippine Embassy and went to school at the East-West Center in Washington. She wants to be a lawyer after her time in the pageant.
Bea was Miss Earth Water 2024, where she represented the United States, before she joined Miss Universe Philippines. She eventually moved to La Union, where her grandparents lived, and brought her things in bags and balikbayan boxes.
She beat out 49 other people to earn the championship. Bella Ysmael, Nicole Borromeo, Marian Dela Cruz Arellano, Allyson Hetland, Apriel Smith, and Jenrose Javier were the other six finalists. Avee Kultsar won Miss Congeniality, Kristen Marcelino won Miss Photogenic, and Justine Beatrice Felizarta won Best in Swimsuit. Queen Ma. Ahtisa Manalo put the crown on Bea’s head.
This year’s coronation ended before midnight, which was not the case in years past. On May 10, four more titles will be given out: Supranational, Cosmo, Eco International, and Charm.
Marina Summers was the host of the show, and the P-pop group BGYO opened it. It was shown live on YouTube and then again the next morning on TV5.
Bea will go to Puerto Rico in November to compete in the 75th Miss Universe competition as the Philippines’ representative.
