Actress Cristine Reyes is now engaged. She will marry her boyfriend Gio Tiongson. Cristine posted the good news on Instagram. She shared adorable images with Gio including a close-up shot of her engagement ring. She simply captioned it: “Every timeline led here. Endgame unlocked.” The post was seen by many followers and fellow celebs. They posted nice comments and wished the couple well.
Cristine and Gio began dating last year. Initially, Cristine kept their relationship under wraps. She did not mention it very often in public. But over time the two got more open. They began dating and letting people view them as a couple.
Gio Tiongson comes from a government and political background. He used to be the chairman of the National Youth Commission. He also served as the Chief Political Officer for former Senator Bam Aquino. He then became part of the Akbayan political party, where he served in a prominent position for years.
Cristine was married to MMA fighter Ali Khatibi before Gio. They have a daughter, Amarah. Cristine once revealed she had an annulment to end her first marriage. The annulment was complete more than a year before she went public with her new relationship, she said.
