A New Spotlight on the Yulo Siblings

The spotlight is now turning towards the siblings of Carlos Yulo, as they gear up to make their mark in the world of gymnastics.

With his incredible performance in the FIG Artistics Gymnastics World Cup Doha leg, Carlos Yulo earned gold and silver medals. Now, all eyes are on his siblings, Karl Eldrew and Elaiza Andriel, who are ready to show off their skills on the global arena.

Karl and Elaiza are both crucial parts of the Philippine national team, which is ready to go to the Pacific Rim Championships in Cali, Colombia, which is set to take place on April 26 and 27.

With athletes like Juancho Miguel Besana, Justine Ace de Leon, John Ivan Cruz, Jan Gwynn Timbang, Jhon Romeo Santillan, Karl Jahrel Eldrew Yulo for the men’s artistic category and Ancilla Lucia Mari Manzano, Kursten Rogue Lopez, and Elaiza Andriel Yulo for the women’s artistic category, the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines expressed confidence in their team’s preparation for the challenge.

Elaiza, 13, and Karl, 17, initially gained recognition at the Batang Pinoy events in December of last year. Karl’s outstanding achievement earned him a tie for the most decorated athlete title with swimmer Heather White, as he won seven gold medals in all competitions. Elaiza, often known as “Yza,” demonstrated her strength in the vault and floor exercise events, winning two gold medals.
