The 127th anniversary of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was held on Monday, June 23, 2025. Gerald A. People complimented Director Pacanan for not just finishing projects on schedule but also for using cutting-edge techniques to keep track of work, improve communication between district offices, and make sure that infrastructure development is beneficial for the environment. His work on flood control, building bridges, widening roads, and making projects more disaster-proof has greatly enhanced the quality of life for people in MIMAROPA. He has also made deeper connections with local officials and people to make sure that DPWH projects genuinely meet their needs.
