Immersion activities and attractions are planned for the future Minion Land. Top highlights include, among others:
Gru’s Neighbourhood: Explore Gru’s Neighborhood and get to know Lucy, Gru, and their adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes. Take part in Gru’s laboratory’s Minion Mayhem ride on the Despicable Me attraction! You might even turn into a Minion!
Minion Marketplace: Are you trying to find Minion gifts and merchandise? Choose from three stores in the Minion Marketplace: Sweet Surrender, Pop Store, and Fun Store.
Super Silly Fun Land: Experience a fully immersive adventure at Super Silly Fun Land, with a view of the tranquil lagoon at USS. This section offers thrilling rides like Universal Studios Singapore’s “world’s first Minion dance party-themed carousel,” Buggie Boogie, and Swirly!
Apart from the aforementioned attractions, Minion Land is set to offer an array of enjoyable rides and activities. According to The Straits Times, the area will also have a special eatery named Super Hungry Food shop, which is dubbed “a larger-than-film version of the waterfront snack stand from Despicable Me.” Pop-A-Nana also offers flavors of popcorn inspired by Minions.
Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and filmmakers from Illumination, the franchise’s animation department, collaborated on the immersive project in addition to Universal Creative, the creative team behind Universal Studios’ attractions.
