Newly constructed School Building with the help of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Mindoro Oriental District Engineering Office (DEO) has built a 3-story, 6-classroom school building at Calapan Central School, Ibaba West, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. This is to meet the growing need for classrooms as more and more students enroll each year.

Administration promised to give Filipino kids modern and comfortable places to learn, and this project is in line with that promise. It is meant to make classrooms less crowded and help kids have a better future.

Mindoro Oriental District Engineer Salvador E. Abad told DPWH MIMAROPA Regional Director Gerald A. Pacanan, CESO III, that the new building is 9.5 meters wide and 23.0 meters long and will have more classrooms to meet the needs of the growing number of students.

The School Principal III of Calapan Central School, Analiza S. Montejo, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to DPWH for the newly constructed building in Calapan Central School.

“Maraming maraming salamat sa tulong ng DPWH at sa aming SDO ay natugunan ang pangangailangan dito sa aming paaralan, maraming salamat po.”
The project shows that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Department of Education (DepEd) are still working together to fix the country’s lack of basic education facilities. There are now more classrooms available at Calapan Central School, which will help the kids learn better and grow, be more productive, and do better in school.
