A 1,000-strong mobilization marched from España Boulevard to Mendiola denouncing the Department of Energy and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s continued support for coal expansion despite a 2020 coal moratorium.
Actions were also held in fifteen provinces hosting coal-fired power plants in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
