Beyond their music, G22 has been everywhere in 2025. The group performed at the Asia Pacific Predator League in Malaysia last January, marking their first major international stage of the year. Despite their success, the members remain grounded, often expressing admiration for fellow P-pop groups like BINI, emphasizing the sense of unity fueling the genre’s rapid rise.
The Alphas
Each member of G22 brings a unique background and artistry to the group:
- AJ (Angel Jermae Bantiling Yape) – Leader, main rapper, and vocalist. A former The Voice Teens contestant and solo artist, AJ’s sharp lyricism and stage presence define much of G22’s sound.
- Alfea (Alfea Marie Gonzalez Zulueta) – Lead vocalist and lead dancer. With her Filipino-Spanish heritage and extensive training, she brings precision and charisma to every stage.
- Jaz (Jasmine Therese Montemayor Henry) – Main vocalist. A Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter who moved to Manila in 2018, she adds powerhouse vocals and international flair.
The group also honors Bianca Paula Vargas Forro, their former main dancer, who departed in September 2023 for personal reasons but remains with Cornerstone Entertainment.
