Ferrol, Romblon — Residents of Sitio Lupog and Barangay Tubigon in the Municipality of Ferrol now enjoy shorter travel times and improved access to the town proper following the completion of a road construction project implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Romblon District Engineering Office.

The infrastructure initiative is part of the government’s efforts to enhance connectivity and stimulate local economic growth across the province.

Engineer Castilan emphasized that the newly constructed road will benefit residents and local businesses by improving access to markets, schools, and essential services, while also promoting tourism opportunities in Ferrol and nearby towns.

The project aligns with DPWH’s continuing mission to build sustainable and resilient road networks that support inclusive development across the MIMAROPA Region.
