The Leyte Philatelic Society is inviting the public to visit the Leyte Philatelic Exhibition 2026 at the Level 1 Expansion, Robinsons Marasbaras in Tacloban City.

The exhibit, themed “Letters, Legends, and Legacies,” is open until Oct. 20 and features stamps, letters and postcards that highlight history, heritage and personal stories.
“Bring your friends and family, explore the exhibits and take home a newfound appreciation for philately,” organizers said.

Organizers said the exhibit aims to show that postcards carry more than messages.
“They carry stories, create friendships and bring people closer together. One postcard, many signatures and countless connections, one stamp at a time,” they said.
Visitors can also join the Postcrossing activity with Postcrossing Philippines during the Leyte Gulf Landing Anniversary Meetup, where guests exchange postcards and collect multiple signatures, turning each card into a keepsake.

The exhibition opened with Leyte Gov. Carlos Jericho “Icot” Petilla leading the rites, joined by Philippine Postal Corp. Postmaster General and CEO Maximo Sta. Maria III, Leyte Philatelic Society founder and President Henry Gosyco, and co-founder and Vice President Frances Ann Petilla.
