Filipinos are advised to remain vigilant, avoid areas that may pose danger, and stay indoors if security alerts are issued. The advisory emphasizes the importance of following guidelines from Saudi Civil Defense and other local authorities regarding safety and security measures.

The Houthi rebels have intensified their attacks against Saudi Arabia using missile and drone strikes. Officials report that at least three individuals lost their lives this week due to an incident involving debris from an intercepted missile, which struck a kindergarten and medical complex.

Traveling Filipinos are also encouraged to directly contact their airlines, as security-related events may lead to delays, cancellations, or other travel disruptions. The embassy and consulate have warned against approaching or touching any suspicious objects or missile debris, urging the public to refrain from spreading unverified information.

Despite the tensions, both the embassy and the consulate have assured that they will continue their normal operations and provide consular assistance to Filipinos in Saudi Arabia.
