NFWCP launches Arts Contest

In celebration of National Arts Month and its 105th Anniversary, the National Federation of Women’s Clubs of the Philippines launches the NFWC Arts Contest with the theme: “From Suffrage to Strength: 105 Years of Filipina Power.”

This initiative commemorates the historic 1937 milestone granting Filipino women the right to vote — a victory achieved through the leadership and civic movement of pioneering women leaders.

The contest invites students, artists, and writers to express through art and literature the journey of Filipina empowerment, leadership, and contribution to nation-building.

Categories include Literary Arts, Visual Arts, Poster Making, and Mixed Media.

Mrs. Linda Gonzalez, NFWCP President, said, the event aims to educate the youth on women’s history while promoting creativity and civic pride.

The NFWC, one of the country’s oldest women’s civic organizations, continues its legacy of empowering communities, advocating for women’s welfare, and promoting nation-building initiatives.

Awarding will be on March 8, 2026, during the celebration of International Women’s Day.
