KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines – October 27, 2025 — A suspected major drug den operator was arrested during a joint operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 12 and the Kidapawan City Police Station on Monday morning at Purok Lemonsito, Alim Street, Brgy Poblacion, Kidapawan City.
The operation led to the arrest of eight high-value targets identified as “Tagum” (drug den maintainer), alias Zairon, alias Hassan, alias Francis, alias Joven, alias Ronel, alias Jero, and Al Gafur, while another suspect, alias Sunshine, remains at large.

Seized during the raid were nineteen (19) heat-sealed plastic sachets containing approximately 15 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱102,000.00. Authorities also recovered a caliber .45 pistol with magazine and live ammunition, an explosive, and various drug paraphernalia and other non-drug items.

Recovered from the scene were a significant quantity of suspected illegal drugs, several firearms, and assorted ammunition, which are currently being inventoried by PDEA agents.
Kidapawan City Mayor Atty. Paolo Evangelista personally rushed to the site following the successful operation and expressed full support for the intensified anti-drug campaign being carried out by national and local law enforcement.

The arrested suspects will face charges for violations of Sections 6, 7, 11, and 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
